19th August – fruits, flowers, fish, beers & books!
It’s a fruity, floral, fish and beer market this week, with seasonal raspberries and redcurrants from Sotwell Manor Fruit Farm, locally grown flowers from Country Bunches, wildlife gardening books and CDs from Wildman Environmental Learning, local fish from Bibury Trout Farm, and local beers from LAM Brewing. In addition to her usual delights Brynmoor Conserves will also have homemade flapjacks and fruit cakes to sell and Oxford Poetry Library will be selling books and other publications by local writers.

Ever wondered how market regular Willowbrook Farm work? They have regular volunteer Sundays from 10am – 2pm where you can join them working on various farming activities ranging from log splitting and stacking to clearing hedges, picking fruit and planting veg!. Volunteering is open to anyone aged 15+ just bring gloves, tough boots and rough clothes. Volunteers also enjoy a home-made lunch in return for their help.
